This week we trekked down to Lower Greenville for a visit to one of the hottest spots in Dallas as they celebrate the Lunar New Year, as well as its 6-month anniversary.
Ngon, meaning “delicious”, features a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes in a festive and bright setting. The space includes a twelve-seat bar, a spacious dining room, and a patio for those who wish to dine outdoors during this time. Enjoy the peek, then head down to eat.

Saigon Special Bahn Mi – Cognac foie gras pate, buttered mayo, jalapeños, picked veggies, cucumber, cilantro, ham, chicken & grilled pork

Imperial Rolls – Flash fried with shrimp, krab, cream cheese & fish sauce

Twelve-seat bar serves over a dozen specialty cocktails and martinis

Salmon Ceviche – Salmon, tobiko, avocado, ponzu, cilantro, scallion, sesame seeds & avocado oil

Bun Thang – Traditional dish originating from Hanoi. Vermicelli noodles in chicken broth with dried shrimp floss, shredded chicken, Vietnamese ham, thinly fried egg, pickled daikon, shiitake mushrooms, and Chinese sausage, garnished with a lime/lemon wedge, green onions, Vietnamese coriander, fried shallots, red chili peppers and fermented shrimp paste. Served February 12-19 as the Lunar New Year special.
