Cosmos is a dive with good taste. Where else can you enjoy a PBR alongside a marvelous martini and a bowl of pho? Here you will find spot-on Vietnamese and oddly enough, pizza. Selections include excellent bánh mi and vinegar-spiked dumplings, plus some of the best wings in Dallas. Take it all in and enjoy the beatnik atmosphere that will drive you back to another era.
Cosmos may have the only VHS selection in town and you may enjoy such classic movies as Groundhog Day. Sure, you can find this flick on Hulu, but the wind of the VHS brings back fond memories of Blockbuster and the hours you spent hunting for that perfect selection to woo your date.

Behind the stick runs Jackson Tran who stays busy filling shot glasses with tequila while the regulars nod for their usual. You can smoke out back on a tiny patch of grass where some nights 10 or 15 huddle knowingly before rushing back to their cocktail. The crowd varies from each night and always entertains but you are sure to find some of the city’s shakers on site at any given time.
This may be a jumping off point for a long evening, or a place to settle in for last call, either way you will be happy you made it in even for one libation. If you find a lull step next door to Lakewood Landing with its own set of vibes (and a midnight corndog).
